Beauty brands to avoid and Brands to use in 2020

The cosmetic and beauty industry is ever growing and flourishing and has become extremely competitive over the last few years.The well known are brands namely: MAC, Loreal, Maybelline and many others but in the era of beauty brands like Glossier and E.L.F, these oldies are lacking way behind and in this blog you are going to learn why. 

Lets start from the original gangsters, the brands that revolutionized the luxury makeup game: M.A.C. loreal, too faced, tarte. They have been around for quite a while now and we all have owned at least one product from these brands, but they have fallen prey to serious backlash over their products being tested on animals as most of them are not cruelty free. If that was not enough, it was found that M.A.C uses harmful ingredients like lead in their lipsticks that is known to be dangerous for lips as it damages the outer layer of the skin causing pigmentation overtime. other than this their best selling foundation namely, Studio fix tinted fluid has ingredients like ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and tocopheryl acetate which gets absorbed into the blood and negatively effects the reproductive organs. 
Maybelline is sadly a part of this too which might be a shocker for many of you out there because this has been that brand towards which everyone gravitates back to due to its affordable pricing and promising results but what about the chemicals that are used to achieve those results? their face powders include finely milled talc which is extremely dangerous as it blocks the pores of the skin and overtime causes acne and blackheads. Other than this their vibrant blushes and liquid lipstick includes a deadly ingredient known as Carcinogens which is again absorbed in blood through the skin and is known to cause tumors.
